Éric received a diploma in college studies in horticultural production from Mirabel’s Centre de formation agricole in 2007 and a bachelor’s degree in agronomy (soil specialization), from Université Laval in 2011.

Éric started in 2009 as a research technician for Les Fraises de l’île d’Orléans, where he studied the technico-economic feasibility of growing organic strawberries and raspberries in containers under large tunnels. 

In the summer of 2013, he made a switch to field crops as a representative for Synagri. In 2018, he returned to organic farming by joining Serres Lefort as their research and development coordinator, where he worked on developing new methods of disease control, fertilizer management and water management. Finally, Éric participated in the revision of two Canadian organic agriculture norms (general principles and management standards, and permitted substances).

Since 2021, Éric has been an agrologist and agri-environmental consultant at Logiag.
