Raquel holds an engineering degree from the University of Zulia, Venezuela, with a specialization in agronomy. She also holds a PhD in Rural Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. 

Raquel worked at the University of Zulia as a research assistant for three years and then as a professor of soil science for 14 years. Over the years, she has gained solid experience in managing research projects on irrigated land degradation. Raquel has also worked as a management consultant to small and medium-sized agricultural companies, contributing to their sustainable development. 

Since 2015, Raquel is a member of l’Ordre des agronomes du Québec. She joined the Logiag team in 2018 as an agro-environmental consultant, where she ensured that certificates of authorization and project notices meet the requirements of the Ministère de l’Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques du Québec.

Since 2023, she supervises the team charged of all research and methodology questions related to our Climate transition department.
