Raquel holds an engineering degree from the University of Zulia, Venezuela, with a specialization in agrology. She also holds a PhD in Rural Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. 

Raquel worked at the University of Zulia as a research assistant for three years and then as a professor of soil science for 14 years. Over the years, she has gained solid experience in managing research projects on irrigated land degradation. Raquel has also worked as a management consultant to small and medium-sized agricultural companies, contributing to their sustainable development. 

Since 2015, Raquel is a member of l’Ordre des agronomes du Québec. She joined the Logiag team in 2018 as an agri-environmental consultant, where she ensures that certificates of authorization and project notices meet the requirements of the Ministère de l’Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques du Québec.
