These Innovators are Finding New Solutions to Progress Carbon Sequestration in Agricultural Soils

Eurofins EnvironeX has validated the LaserAg measuring instrument for soil organic carbon (SOC) analysis, invented by Logiag. This instrument simplifies and speeds up SOC analysis, which is a clear advantage in the fight against climate change.

Rosanne Chabot, PhD, Agr, Eng, co-director of our agricultural engineering department since 2002, is the principal author of the most recent guide on subsurface drainage of agricultural land from the Quebec Reference Center for Agriculture and Agri-food (CRAAQ).

Low-carbon milk is a reality in Canada. An independent audit has confirmed GHG reductions in milk produced by 15 farms in Quebec. This is an important milestone that marks the beginning of Canada’s dairy industry’s decarbonization.
