LaserAg

Cutting-edge platform
for soil analyses

LaserAg is a comprehensive platform designed for laboratories that perform soil analyses. This structured analysis process combines a laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) based measuring instrument, with artificial intelligence models.

Together, these elements form a cost-effective, faster, and more environmentally friendly solution than traditional analysis methods that :

  • Replaces the use of five traditional machines
  • Can analyze up to 100,000 samples per year
  • Requires no chemicals

The power of LIBS

The LaserAg Quantum laboratory instrument uses LIBS, a powerful technology found in many industries, including aerospace, where it is used to explore the Martian soil!

Specifically, LaserAg Quantum simultaneously analyzes about 15 soil parameters, including organic carbon, macro- and micronutrients, particle size, total nitrogen content, and pH.

A recognized technology

LaserAg is the result of more than 15 years of R&D, conducted in collaboration with world-class partners such as the INO research center, the Montreal Computer Research Center, the National Research Council Canada, and IVADO.

Today, the development of LaserAg is ongoing, thanks to our precision agriculture R&D team, specializing in software development, engineering, LIBS, and laboratory techniques.
