The laser spectrum, interpreted by AI

The LaserAg Quantum laboratory instrument identifies the elemental components of complex materials by combining LIBS technology, which uses a powerful laser to generate a spectrum, and AI, which interprets that spectrum.

This technology operates in three very rapid steps:

• A laser irradiates a portion of the sample, creating a plasma;
• The laser is turned off and the electrons return to their initial state, emitting characteristic radiation;
• This radiation is analyzed by artificial intelligence models to determine the elemental composition of the sample.
