Valérie Duchesne, MS
Valérie holds a bachelor’s degree in biology (ecology profile) and a master’s degree in applied geomatics and remote sensing from the University of Sherbrooke. Specializing in agro-environment, she collaborated during her graduate studies with the company XLKey to develop analytical models for decision support in precision agriculture. This experience allowed her to hone her skills in structuring complex data and validating experimental protocols.
Her experience as a science teacher, combined with graduate-level courses in education, gives her a human-centered approach and a strong ability to communicate complex concepts in an accessible way. Having also worked in the field in the Estrie region at l’Abri Végétal and the Club Agroenvironnement de l’Estrie, Valérie now cultivates her passion for the plant world through her greenhouse, her gardens, and her collection of tropical plants.
