Sebastian Gutierrez Pacheco, PhD

Sebastian completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in agricultural engineering at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, as well as a doctorate in ecological engineering at Université Laval.

After arriving in Quebec in 2016, Sebastian worked as a student intern at the Institut de recherche et de développement en agroenvironnement, as a research assistant and teaching assistant at Université Laval’s soils and environment department, and as an R&D project manager at Ro-Main, an SME specialized in the automation of low value-added tasks in pig farming.

Sebastian was hired by Logiag in 2024 as Agro-environmental Advisor – Agricultural Engineering, but quickly took advantage of an internal opportunity and now holds the position of Coordination Manager, GHG Modeling.
