What is it?

Soil sampling gives you a complete picture of your soils, including their:

  • Concentration of different nutrients
  • Degree of compaction
  • Quantity of organic matter
  • Electrical conductivity (water concentration)
  • pH level

In concrete terms, sampling allows you to measure the evolution of a single field and/or to compare between fields.

There are two sampling methods. With the conventional method, our agronomists form a single sample with all their samples. This method gives average values, which is sufficient for most producers.

GPS sampling is both more accurate and more expensive. Its geo-referenced data provides an accurate picture of different areas in your fields. GPS sampling may be appropriate if your fields are already very productive, you want to apply very precise amounts of inputs, or you want to conduct tests.
